The bedrooms and living areas exude a modern minimalist feel; tastefully furnished with a classy, artsy vibe throughout. The unit provides plenty of room for larger parties or multiple couples and is completely outfitted with new appliances and decorations. The living room is bright and airy and provides for a wonderful sunny place to relax, soak in the warm Mediterranean air and plan your next excursion into the majestic city of Rome. In addition, bright kitchen decor and the fully functional cooking space make enjoying your at-home cooking a true delight.
For art lovers, we even make a point of taking the time to keep up on rotating a small exhibition of contemporary Italian artists on the walls of this unit, which always allows us to give our guests a unique environment in which to live during their stay in Rome.
For advice on excursions and activities, our English-speaking staff will always be ready to suggest the best places to go for a glass of wine or a pizza and can suggest events or sights you simply should not miss.
Location: The apartment is inside a lovely 19th century building, directly in front of the entrance of the stunning Santa Prassede Basilica (one of the most ancient Churches in Rome). This prime apartment rental is situated along the typical charming, narrow streets of the Monti area, between the Colosseum and Termini station. Many must-see sights are within a short stroll, with major monuments and landmarks just 15-20 minutes away.
Parking info: Off-street parking is available. A parking space is also available in garage nearby for a reduced price when renting this unit.
Sights nearby: Some sights and monuments that are within walking distance include: Via Nazionale and Via Veneto: (5/10 min). Spanish Steps, Trevi’s Fountain, Piazza Navona, Campo de’ Fiori and Pantheon (all about a 15/20 min walk)
A little bit further away, but still close by and easily traveled to are The Colosseum and Imperial Forums: (1km), Piazza Venezia and Via del Corso (1.5km)
How to get there: From Termini Station, the apartment is just a short 5 minute walk away (500meters / 0,25miles).
Exit the Station on Via Giolitti (leaving the rails, you'll need to go left). When outside, go left and find the first street on your right, Via Gioberti. Walk through via Gioberti (300m) and you will reach Piazza Santa Maria Maggiore. Walk 160ft down the second street on the left, Via Merulana, then turn right in Via San Martino ai Monti. Just walk down to number 38 (on your left side) and we will be there waiting to check you in to your home away from home!
