Description: This wonderful duplex apartment is located in the heart of the beautiful historic center of Rome, inside a 5 storey building originally built in the early 1900. Restored with fine craftmanship and precious care, this building rests atop the Caelian Hill.
Decorated in a classical style with a tastefully furnished open floor plan, this apartment rental would be ideal for both business and pleasure alike. This duplex apartment is on a very bright fourth floor with elevator service and is suitable for maximum 4 guests. no KIDS under 8 y.o.
Location: Via Ostilia is a quiet, narrow one way road, with some parking restrictions. The Colosseum View Apartment is perfect for tourists looking for a peaceful vacation home that is the perfect stepping off point for all of their excursions. The property is located just a very few steps from the Roman Forum and the Colosseum, in a charming area with a plethora of peculiar stores, candlelight restaurants and friendly pubs.
The metro (Colosseum) is in close proximity and several buses, as well as taxi stations (around the corner) can be found nearby. The rent-a-bike and the rent-a-motorbike kiosks allow the Colosseum View Apartment guests to move around Rome easily and quickly.
Need laundry facilities, internet cafe, supermarket, pharmacy, money exchange, international phone calls point, ATM machine, bank... just head downstairs. It's all there for you.

Just a quick review to say that we had a wonderful time at this apartment. Andrea and Christina were fantastic to us and were extremely helpful. The apartment is in a perfect location with a view of COLOSSEUM from the window and walking distance to everything... The metro is also only walk away.. I would definately stay here again and will be telling all friends and family to stay aswell. Thanks again

We have just had a wonderful stay at the Colosseum View Apartment Via Ostilia 1 in Rome. The pictures online don't do it justice. There were three of us - all adults - so we used the pullout sofa in the living area as well as the loft bedroom. The apartment is very spacious as well as comfortable. This is mid-February so that means comfortable whether it was pouring rain or blindingly sunny - all of which it was during our stay. The fully equipped kitchen meant we could prepare meals when and if we wished and we did. Also you could walk almost anywhere from this location. Highly recommended. Heather Brown

We loved this apartment and hope to return someday. The four of us (two middle school aged kids) were comfortable and the living area and two bathrooms gave us plenty of room. Our landlords, Andrea and Cristiana, are gracious and incredibly helpful. The neighborhood has everything one needs (fresh produce market every AM, supermarket, laundry, etc.) The location is very convenient to public transport and Palatine Hill, the Roman Forum and the Colosseum are literally right there.
