Description: Our lovely Danube Heritage Apartment in Budapest is available for vacation and short-term rentals. With original hardwood floors, doors, windows and elegant high ceilings, staying here will make you feel like a local. It has recently been renovated, and is newly furnished. The sunny 53-square-meter apartment sleeps up to two guests in the bedroom, and an additional guest on the foldout couch in the spacious living room. A portable crib for an infant may be provided upon advance request.
This vacation apartment includes unlimited free wireless Internet for your laptop; free use of a Hungarian mobile phone; a well-equipped eat-in kitchen; a full-sized oven, stove, and refrigerator; a microwave, coffee maker, and toaster; a washing machine; a flat-screen television with cable and DVD player; a stereo with an ipod connector; a DVD/CD/book selection; a full bathroom with claw-foot tub and hairdryer; linens and towels; and an iron and ironing board. Located in a classic early-20th-century building, the apartment overlooks one of the building’s two courtyards, making it secluded and quiet.
This remarkable piece of Eastern European history is located in one of the city’s oldest and most atmospheric neighborhoods, with narrow staircases leading up to the Castle and numerous restaurants and cafés. As an added benefit to our traveling guests, the building is well-served by public transportation.

All in all, pretty much everything a visitor would want to see is just a short walk or ride away!
How to get there: By Car: From the South: From the Buda end of the Chain Bridge, turn left at the roundabout on Clark Adam tér, and get on Fo utca. Fo utca will shortly turn into a one-way street (which makes driving to the apartment much longer than walking from this point), so you should veer right and end up on Bem rakpart. From there, go about two blocks and make a left on Halász utca, and another immediate left onto Fo utca. Drive two blocks, and then turn right on Jégverem utca. The building is on the left side of the street. From the North: Get on F utca, and Jégverem utca will be on the right, after Batthyány square and about two blocks before Clark Adam tér and the Chain Bridge. The building is on the left side of the street.
By Public Transportation:
Arriving by rail: Take the Number 2 metro (red) line to Batthyány tér. From there it is about a ten minute walk to the building. From Batthyány Square, turn left on Fo utca until you reach Jégverem utca, where you will turn right. The building is on the left side of the street. From the Airport: We recommend taking the Airport Minibus (which will cost 4,990 Ft per person for a round trip ticket) or a taxi (which will cost a fixed rate of 5,000 Ft).
