This home is reserved for guests with extreme pet allergies and there cannot be any pet hair in the home. Our home next door (Hollywood Hills Villa II) lets pets stay on rare occasion, and we made the decision to forbid pets in this home to respect a large number of guests needs and wishes. With this home being new construction, we chose to leave it as a no-pet home.
Location: Tucked into one of the affluent neighborhoods of the spectacular Hollywood Hills this private estate is located just off famous Laurel Canyon. Just minutes from West Hollywood and the infamous Sunset Strip, guests can experience both the serene privacy of the California mountains and the energetic nightlife of Los Angeles.
Parking info: One compact car or minivan can fit in the driveway, and additional street parking is available (please read signs for restrictions). A one car garage is available by advance arrangement only.
Sights nearby: The spectacular mountains and homes around the neighborhood are always a sight to behold. Jim Morrison and Harry Houdini's homes are quite close by.
Touring: It is never boring with Jim Morrison's house just down the street. Harry Houdini's house is nearby as well. There's a fantastic vintage Canyon Country Store at the end of the street for snacks, meals (they have a deli) and groceries. If you don't feel like taking the walk, they also deliver.
Housed under the Country Store is the Italian restaurant PACE. At PACE - one of the hidden away gems of the Los Angeles dining scene - you are likely to bump into someone you have seen on the silver screen, at a concert or your television set. If you would like to enjoy this restaurant, make sure to reserve a table, especially after 6pm on most nights, as it's a busy place, even without any advertising.

Want to discover Hollywood?
If you enjoy music, definitely find out what tickets are available at the Hollywood Bowl, the House of Blues or legendary Hollywood favorites like the Roxy or Whisky-a-go-go. Most famous band and performers got their starts at these storied venues.

We stayed here for two days and enjoyed ourselves immensely. I entertained the second night and was able to invite a business associate over who was very impressed The only downside is that some of the roads in the Hills are not signposted well, so at night if you are not paying attention you can get lost and end up having to go back and forth a lot. But all in all this was a perfect weekend getaway.
