This vacation rental is only a few hundred meters from one of the largest city parks, "Villa Pamphili", and a hundred meters from one of the most characteristic flea markets "Porta Portese".
Location: This residential area is peaceful and well connected. Monteverde starts where Trastevere ends so many people chose to live here. The Villa Doria Pamphili is one the biggest and most popular parks in town.
Parking info: Free off street parking available. There is a private garage close by at a cost of about 12-15 Euros depending on car size.
Sights nearby: Villa Pamphili is easily within walking distance, Gianiculum Hill and city center are 15 minutes ride by tram Nr. 8
How to get there:
Arrival by Plane :
From Fiumicino airport take the train to Rome (runs every 15 minutes) and get off at "Trastevere Station" (NOTE: do not take the direct train to "Termini Station"). Cross the square and take the tram Nr.8, direction "Casaletto". Get off at the 3rd stop at "Largo Ravizza".
From Ciampino airport, take the bus "Autolinea Aeroporto di Ciampino Metro Anagnina", outside arrivals to the metro stop Anagnina. From there take metro "A" to Termini Station and from there take bus "H" and get off at "Piazza S. Giovanni di Dio".
Arrival By Train :
From the "Termini Station" take bus "H" and get off at "Piazza S. Giovanni di Dio". From the "Trastevere Station", take tram nr.8 and get off at the 3rd stop, "Largo Ravizza".
